The housekeeping staff, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that my room was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. They were always prompt in their responses to any requests I had, making sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The restaurant staff also left a positive impression on me. I enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, where the attentive waitstaff made sure I had a delightful dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating to dietary restrictions, and provided excellent recommendations. Immediately across the road from the airport terminal, this is an excellent choice for an overnight stay as you don't need to wait for a shuttle bus. The Gateway has a nice open-air, tropical feel to it (unlike most airport hotels) with a 'Quiet' pool near the bar and restaurant and a huge, noisier pool with sunloungers and a waterslide off to one side. The food and drink is good quality at reasonable prices. Rooms very clean and bigger than I was expecting.

The location of the property was exactly what I was looking for. It is, literally, across the street from the airport and I easily walked via the paved path. The staff was very warm and the room was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had nice products for use. The (warm) Fiji climate was no problem for the A/C. Food was on site or you could walk back to the airport if needed.
